Beurteilung der Funktion und Dysfunktion des intestinalen Epithels mit fortgeschrittenen farbstofffreien Bildgebungstechniken
Projektzusammenfassung
Hochentwickelte markierungsfreie optische Technologien wie Multiphotonenmikroskopie und Raman-Spektroskopie bergen ein großes Potenzial für die Charakterisierung von Schleimhautentzündungen in vivo. Mit diesen Ansätzen werden wir die optischen Eigenschaften der Funktion und Dysfunktion der epithelialen Barriere sowie die Folgen von Defekten der epithelialen Barriere einschließlich der Infiltration von Immunzellen und der bakteriellen Translokation in präklinischen Colitis-Modellen ex vivo und in vivo untersuchen. Auf der Grundlage dieser Studien werden im Projekt C01 fortschrittliche optische Technologien für die in vivo-Evaluierung von Schleimhautentzündungen bei IBD beim Menschen weiterentwickelt.
